Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her father is Nigerian Swiss and her mother is English. She was raised in the southern part of London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While at school she appeared in numerous stage plays, such as the King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's been a guest star on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film came from that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. Also, the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe played the lead role in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy released in 2008. Her credits in the theatre include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe officially made her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was then removed from the air. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who had played a regular role in the previous two seasons had decided to quit the show with a guest appearance on the premier episode of the season's new episode. From 2014 to 2016, she starred in Salem as Tituba. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he is also a part of the cast in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was raised in a large family from Hamilton, Ontario. Her four older brothers were also in the family and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's four brothers, all very athletic, played hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summer months, which means that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley could never walk, but she danced. When she turned two-and-a-half she took up Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley was enthralled by dance immediately after that. Until she graduated from High School, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical and hip-hop. She won the top soloist awards at all of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
